outlining text tutorial.
Well, in this tutorial, that's what you'll be learning! Nothing too extreme... it may look hard, but really it isn't!
1. To start this off, open up a blank page on PSP - any size you want, but for this tutorial, I am using a page that is 300x100.
2. Secondly, get the text tool out [the tool that looks like an A] and press anywhere on the page for the text box to come up.
3. Now you will put your text in the textbox, whatever you want, "testing" blah blah...
4. Get the color of text you want on the indside, and press the enter button.
5. Next you will copy it, either EDIT>COPY or CTRL and C at the ssame time [which is what I will be using], which will copy the text.
6. Open a new page the same size as the last is fine, or whatever size you want, and fill it with whatever gradient or color you want to be as the border. [yes, gradients work too, as I just mentioned.]
7. Paste the text you just copied in this page, if you want the border white, then don't fill it with anything. To paste this you can either do - EDIT>PASTE or CTRL and V which is what I will be doing.
8. Now go to SELECTIONS>MODIFY>EXPAND and a box will come up with something that should look like this -
Please click the picture for a bigger version.
9. Match your settings to mine if you want it as thick as mine. Which would be 3. But if you want something less thicker, then I suggest you put it as 1. If you want something more thicker, I suggest a 3 or a 4.
10. To top it off click OK and there you go! WHAAA-LAH! <3 Pretty easy? [= Enjoy! Please make sure to credit oh-so-glam if you use this tutorial. Please no copying though. Thanks!
Your final product should look something like this, then I suggest you go back and re-read the tutorial and make sure you got it all right!
