Gradient “Shading”
(Credit to the pictures that I've used in this tutorial >> ANTM) :]
into this:
- Please remember, I am doing these tutorials with PSP [XI]. You can do this with any other PSPs [ PSP 8, PSP 7, etc ].
Step 01. Alright. I imagine if you're reading this, you have gotten ahold of the beautiful delicate PSP. First open PSP[XI].
Step 02. NEXT, open up a new banner. Now, I am going to be using this image, [you're welcome to use this image, as well as your own. ]:
Step 3.Now, you have the image in PSP, so now, you'll want to open up another BLANK image, [ white ]; and get your filler [ the thing that looks like a paint bucket dripping ], & get a gradient of your's & fill it into the blank space. If you do not know how to a gradient, go to - gradients. Now, I'll be using this gradient:
Copy the gradient, & go back to the other image [ blend, etc. ], paste it over the other image, and click anywhere on the image. THEN, on the layers panel, [ if not open go to: VIEW > PALETTES > LAYERS ], you should see something like this:
, click the arrow, and then you should see a list of things, like this: CLICK HERE, go down to Screen, & click it. & ta duh! YOUR DONE! ;).
EXTRA INFORMATION: If you'd like to make it look a little different, test things out.. here is another one that I thought was cool, [ with the same image ]:
Screen -
But, y'know, just mess around with it, & see what you find out. :]
