In this tutorial I am using Paint Shop Pro (PSP) - XI. Any PSP works for this tutorial. I got this picture from here.
Please also keep in mind that this tutorial was MADE BY ME. That means no stealing.
1. First, you need to duplicate the background layer, or, base.
2. Next, set the background layer or base, to 53% multiply.
3. Then, make a new raster layer, by going to LAYERS > NEW RASTER LAYER, and fill it with #cade62, or copy and paste this:
Then, set set it to 67% soft light.
4. Next you need to make another new raster layer, by going to LAYERS > NEW RASTER LAYER, and fill it with #ff5881, or copy and paste this:
Then, set it to 81% screen.
5. Then, you need to make another new raster layer, by going to LAYERS > NEW RASTER LAYER, and fill it with #e3c7c7, or copy and paste this:
Then, set it to 38% soft light.
6. Now, make one more new raster layer, by going to LAYERS > NEW RASTER LAYER, BUT, this time, instead of filling it with a color, use this gradient if you want the same effect as I got on on this picture. Copy this gradient, and press CTRL + E, and put it over the picture.
Now, once you have that over the picture, click the mouse button up at the top. Next, set it to, 63% soft light.
7. Then, go to, LAYERS > MERGE > MERGE ALL.
8. Then, you need to duplicate the base, or background.
9. Next, make sure the copy of background is highlighted. We're going to go to ADJUST > BLUR > GAUSSIAN BLUR. Let's set the radius to 1.26.
10. Lastly, you need to set that copy of background (since it's blurry), set it to 83% soft light.
Your final result should look like this:
If your picture doesn't look anything like this, or something, I suggest you go back up, and re-read everything. :]
Now, just to make it look better, if you want you could add some text.. or a border! :]
See? That wasn't too hard. Hope you enjoyed it! :] (PLEASE REMEMBER, THIS TUTORIAL IS CREDIT TO ME. I SPENT MY TIME ON IT, AND I DO NOT WANT IT STOLEN.)
